Greenest Meetings has added a new offering to our portfolio: viewing sustainability through the lens of your attendee.

By attending your meeting, conference or convention, Greenest Meetings can rate your event against current best practice. This allows you to take credit for the sustainable practices you are currently following and also get a list of incremental improvements.

During breaks and social functions, random interviews will be conducted with your attendees to get feedback “from the floor” on their perception of the event. In addition to rating the meeting venue, a review of the eco-practices of the hotel and accommodations will be conducted.

This approach works well when you have an in-house planning department or an established relationship with a meeting planning company and want to raise the sustainability bar of your function.

The recent pandemic has changed the hospitality industry and in particular, the meetings & events segment. As more companies return to face to face meetings, planners need to rise to a new set of challenges. From supply chain delays, reduced frequency of flights to modified hotel services & amenities, the conference landscape is changing.

Greenest Meetings has always been focused on the environmental impacts of meetings. As part of our continuing education we trained on active shooter response. Clean became the new Green with attention to eliminating contact points from check-in, meeting space, conference catering and guest accommodations.
